the camera i got is an Olympus D-510 Zoom. it's got a 3x optical zoom and i think a 5x digital zoom. you can sure see in these pics how well the macro works.

she was about 5 inches when i bought her and someone at the pet store had closed the cage door on her tail, cutting the end off. it's grown back well and you can hardly tell.

now i know a lot of people have been having fits about this bark substrate and i've had it for over 3 years with no problems. someone told me the geckos might eat it. well, i once saw sparky graba cricket and she got a piece of bark along with it. well, she was able to work the bark out of her mouth and still hold onto the cricket. i am thinking of changing to sand though. but everyone has so many horror stories about it.

this is noahs ark, it used to be the center piece of my little aquarium. it was the first thing sparky lived in when i first got her. she loved it. she doesn't fit in it anymore and rearely goes in it. but for some bizzare reason she went right in there so i could take these adorable pictures of her sticking her head out the front.

i'm gonna have fun with this camera.

here is sparky's abode. it's a 30 gallon acrylic fish aquarium i bought for $15 from a pet store that was going out of business. the angle from this picture doesn't really show how much floor space there is in it. last year, i had the light clamped onto the opening in the top there so the light stuck down into the tank a bit. well sparky must have been able to jump from the brown thing in back and grab onto the wire fram around the heat lamp and get out. she was missing for over 5 months. i finally found her lying in the middle of the hallway (i almost stepped on her). hope you enjoyed the pix!
